In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

octeontx2-pf: handle otx2_mbox_get_rsp errors in otx2_dmac_flt.c

Add error pointer checks after calling otx2_mbox_get_rsp().

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2024-56707 to this issue.

Mitigation
==========

The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes.  Individual

release.  Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or
