In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

hwrng: cavium - fix NULL but dereferenced coccicheck error

Fix following coccicheck warning:
./drivers/char/hw_random/cavium-rng-vf.c:182:17-20: ERROR:
pdev is NULL but dereferenced.

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2022-49177 to this issue.

	Fixed in 5.17.2 with commit e47b12f9415169eceda6770fcf45802e0c8d2a66
	Fixed in 5.18 with commit e6205ad58a7ac194abfb33897585b38687d797fa

Mitigation
==========

The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes.  Individual

release.  Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or
supported by the Linux kernel community at all.  If however, updating to
