In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

cpufreq/amd-pstate: Add missing NULL ptr check in amd_pstate_update

Check if policy is NULL before dereferencing it in amd_pstate_update.

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2025-23137 to this issue.

	Issue introduced in 6.11 with commit e8f555daacd3377bf691fdda2490c0b164e00085 and fixed in 6.14.2 with commit b99c1c63d88c75a4dc5487c3696cda38697b8d35
	Issue introduced in 6.11 with commit e8f555daacd3377bf691fdda2490c0b164e00085 and fixed in 6.15-rc1 with commit 426db24d4db2e4f0d6720aeb7795eafcb9e82640

Mitigation
==========

The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes.  Individual
changes are never tested alone, but rather are part of a larger kernel
release.  Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or
supported by the Linux kernel community at all.  If however, updating to
