Subject: CVE-2022-49983: udmabuf: Set the DMA mask for the udmabuf device (v2)
From: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@...nel.org>
Description
===========
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
udmabuf: Set the DMA mask for the udmabuf device (v2)
If the DMA mask is not set explicitly, the following warning occurs
when the userspace tries to access the dma-buf via the CPU as
reported by syzbot here:
WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 3595 at kernel/dma/mapping.c:188

Mitigation
==========
The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes. Individual
changes are never tested alone, but rather are part of a larger kernel
release. Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or
supported by the Linux kernel community at all. If however, updating to
the latest release is impossible, the individual changes to resolve this
issue can be found at these commits:
