Subject: CVE-2022-50390: drm/ttm: fix undefined behavior in bit shift for TTM_TT_FLAG_PRIV_POPULATED
From: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@...nel.org>
Description
===========
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/ttm: fix undefined behavior in bit shift for TTM_TT_FLAG_PRIV_POPULATED
Shifting signed 32-bit value by 31 bits is undefined, so changing
significant bit to unsigned. The UBSAN warning calltrace like below:
UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in ./include/drm/ttm/ttm_tt.h:122:26
left shift of 1 by 31 places cannot be represented in type 'int'

Mitigation
==========
The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes. Individual
changes are never tested alone, but rather are part of a larger kernel
release. Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or
supported by the Linux kernel community at all. If however, updating to
the latest release is impossible, the individual changes to resolve this
issue can be found at these commits:
