Subject: CVE-2023-53805: tty: n_gsm: fix UAF in gsm_cleanup_mux

From: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@...nel.org>

Description
===========

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

tty: n_gsm: fix UAF in gsm_cleanup_mux

In gsm_cleanup_mux() the 'gsm->dlci' pointer was not cleaned properly,
leaving it a dangling pointer after gsm_dlci_release.
This leads to use-after-free where 'gsm->dlci[0]' are freed and accessed
by the subsequent gsm_cleanup_mux().

Such is the case in the following call trace:

Mitigation
==========

The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes. Individual
changes are never tested alone, but rather are part of a larger kernel
release. Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or
supported by the Linux kernel community at all. If however, updating to
the latest release is impossible, the individual changes to resolve this
issue can be found at these commits:
