I've tested it both on xfs and on ext4.
(Test environment: Fedora 20, Kernel 3.14-rc3 + your patches,
 util-linux v2.24-232-g3c7ed4a + your patches)

It seems to work with xfs without problem.
On ext4, however, immediately after doing "fallocate -z",
kernel crashes with the following error:
