Seeking within a directory is related to the hash value of entries being
returned, and not the file (directory) byte offset. Hashes start at 0,
and end at 2^63. This is needed so that seekdir() and telldir() allow
restarting a readdir() call in the middle.
This is working as expected.

By this, I assume you mean "positive offset values beyond INT64_MAX"?
