Subject: FALLOC_FL_COLLAPSE_RANGE crash guarantees

Hello!

I’m considering FALLOC_FL_COLLAPSE_RANGE for app log rotation and is wondering what I can get in the case of hard reset/power loss. Is it true that the hole with garbage can appear in the middle of a file? Fs mount options is 'rw,noatime, data=ordered'.
