Subject: Seg Fault loading 2.4.33.2

System does not boot with latest 2.4.33.2 kernel

The same kernel options ( a cp .config ) from 2.4.32 to new kernel
2.4.33.2 tree
make menuconfig and saved (no changes made)

This is Slackware 10.2

all makes and installs succeed without a glitch
