Subject: PROBLEM: 2.6.x kernels are freezing when acpi support is on.

Dear Kernel Team,

I have an MSI 875PE mainboard with a 2.8 P4. This system had worked
properly with the 2.4.x kernels. After I changed to 2.6.x there was no
problem a while. When I turned on the ACPI to use the hyperthread feature
of the CPU the server has began to freez. I tired to add the acpi=ht option
too but that didn't solve my problem. The kernel free with diffrent error
msg which all are in the oops-tracing.

I made a tar file which includes all required files.

Best regards,
Szabolcs Toth
