Subject: br_stp_if.c

Hi.
I read the bridge code of linux kernel. But now I meet a puzzle.
In file net/bridge/br_stp_if.c line 157
Void br_stp_recalculate_bridge_id() {
….
List_for_each_entry(p, &br->port_list, list) {
     If (addr==br_mac_zeor ||
     Memcmp(p->dev->dev_addr, addr, ETH_ALEN) <0)  //why to find the min of
all macs????
         Add = p->dev->dev_addr;
}
…
}

Who can answer my question? Thanks very much!!!!

BR,
Echo
