Hi, i tried 2.6.18-rt3 on my athlon 1.2ghz box and it builds and boots just
fine (tried complete preemption, hi res timers and tickless kernel). I see
some rather strange hi-level problems though:

- I haven't built the realtime lsm yet, nor does debian have rt_limits support
for pam (i think, and even if it does i haven't set it up as i use rt-lsm). I
can run jackd in realtime mode without problems though. This is very strange.
As if no capabilities checkign is done.

- I cannot log into X through gdm, as it seems that independent of what kind
of session i select X dies right after login. I need to startx from the
console. I wouldn't know where to look for more info on this though.

- Switching from X to another virtual console takes ca. 20 seconds in which
nothing happens, the screen locks, but the mouse cursor is still movable,
then finally it switches to the console allright.

.config attached

Besides these problems it ran very well for the hours i had it up. Nothing
suspicious in the logs. Will try another build with more aggressive debugging
options.

Regards,
Flo
