Hello,

My 2 hard drives are connected to the same pata slot with a 80-wire cable.

But kernel found a 40-wire cable for the master HD!

$ dmesg | grep ata

...

(A DVD burner and a CDROM drive are plugged on the 2nd pata slot
with a 40-wire cable).
