hm, you should only need these:

 CONFIG_EVENT_TRACE=y
 CONFIG_FUNCTION_TRACE=y
 # CONFIG_WAKEUP_TIMING is not set
 # CONFIG_CRITICAL_IRQSOFF_TIMING is not set
 CONFIG_MCOUNT=y

does it boot with these?
