Subject: [GIT PULL] kbuild fixes/updates for -rc1

Hi Linus.

kbuild fixes/updates for -rc1.
The changes are a bit more than I prefer for -rc1 but thats
mainly because the first four patches was sent but not applied during
the merge window.

A good part of the modpost changes as indicated by the diffstat is simple
code movement.

Please pull from:
	git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/sam/kbuild.git

	Sam

Shortlog + diffstat + full diff below.
