There is little reason against merging both - apart from any problems found in the review. Also, competition is a good thing. There's nothing like a flurry of patches following an unfavorable benchmark for one side or the other. ;) Jörn -- Fancy algorithms are slow when n is small, and n is usually small. Fancy algorithms have big constants.
