Subject: Make problems with the kernel installer/

Hello,
I was trying to make and install a new kernel on my system because my system has been rendered unstable, but I'm getting the following error on trying to make:

  /CC [M] drivers/ssb/b43_pci_bridge.o
   LD [M] drivers/ssb/ssb.o
   CC drivers/thermal/thermal_sys.o
 /CC [M] drivers/ssb/b43_pci_bridge.o
   LD [M] drivers/ssb/ssb.o
   CC drivers/thermal/thermal_sys.o
   LD drivers/thermal/built-in.o
  **scripts/Makefile.build:41:
 /home/ashesh/Misc/kernel/linux-2.6.26-rc1/drivers/tuners/Makefile: No such
 file or directory
make[2]: *** No rule to make target
 `/home/ashesh/Misc/kernel/linux-2.6.26-rc1/drivers/tuners/Makefile'. Stop.
  make[1]: *** [drivers/tuners] Error 2
  make: *** [drivers] Error 2**
 */*

Can you please tell me how to overcome this? I am also sending you the .config file as an attachment.

Thank you. I will look forward to your response.

Ashesh Ambasta.
