Yes.
total number of hugepages can increase by sysctl.

So, it must be logged as swap_on/swap_off.
if it is not logged, freepages of hugepage meaning is ambiguity, IMHO.

but I hope tracepoint mechanism doesn't depent on LTTng.

eventually, I will add to some VM activety tracepoint.
but that can separate swapoff tracepoint.
