Subject: No kernel output to serial console
Hello,
I can't get kernel to output any info to serial console during boot,
the output looks like that:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.22.19-lustre-1.6.5.1 ro root=/dev/sdy5 console=ttyS0,9600n8
[Linux-bzImage, setup=0x1400, size=0x2cad08]
INIT: version 2.86 booting
(...)
so both grub and init can use it but kernel doesn't seem to.
grub config:
serial --unit=0 --speed=9600
terminal --timeout=5 serial console
inittab line:
s0:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 9600 ttyS0 vt100
Attaching current kernel config in case i missed something obvious there.
sorry if that's offtopic here, but I'm not sure where else I could ask.
