Subject: GPF on 2.6.28 & 2.6.28-rc9-git3 e1000e / e1000 issues
Ive moved mem3 back onto the onboard e1000e nics, and every 12 hours or
so, a hard lockup occurs with heavy traffic on eth1. When on the e1000
pci-x nics, Id only get an occasional Tx Unit Hang.
This happens on both 2.6.28 and 2.6.28-rc9-git3, which was stable on the
e1000s.
This is a dual Xeon Quad, with 32g of ram, tyan s5397 motherboard, running
Centos 5.2 x86_64.
This is the first time I saw something on the console:
