Not at the moment at least, sorry. But that would make for a nice
little (student?) project (or not so little).

Tried that, didn't help. /usr/share/alsa/cards/HDA-Intel.conf still
contains the patch, but equal Capture Volume sliders still silenced
audio input, whereas non-equal worked. Hmm.
