Subject: 2.6.30-rc3-rt

Hi Folks,

I took a cut at forward-porting 2.6.29.1-rt9 to the 2.6.30 RC3-ish.

The port seems fairly stable, having survived a weekend of stress
testing. A cyclictest plot of 50M cycles @500us intervals is attached.

It went fairly easily, I have a couple more things to look at in regards
to the SOFTLOCKUP and HUNG_TASKS changes today.

There is also a compile fix for the bnx2x driver for IPv6, that I think
needs to go to mainline, I will check and mail separately if still
valid.

The (broken-out) patches are here:

http://www.thebigcorporation.com/Sven/patch-2.6.30-rt/

These patches will apply to commit ce8a7424d23a36f043d0de8484f888971c831119 on Linus's tree as of yesterday.

I just wanted to give a heads up, in hopes it might be helpful as reference.

Regards,

Sven
