Works without any problem:

CONFIG_X86_MCE=y
CONFIG_X86_OLD_MCE=y
CONFIG_X86_ANCIENT_MCE=y
# CONFIG_X86_MCE_NONFATAL is not set
# CONFIG_X86_MCE_P4THERMAL is not set
