Subject: 2.6.31 - snd_intel8x0: fails to initialize NVidia CK804 sound chip
With Linux 2.6.31-rc3-git4 with included Alsa and Linux 2.6.31-rc4 with an
Alsa 1.0.20+ snapshot from 13 July, sound on my NVidia CK804 (NForce 4
chipset) is not working). With 2.6.30 everything was working fine.
dmesg shows this error:
cannot find the slot for index 0 (range 0-1), error: -16
Intel ICH: probe of 0000:00:04.0 failed with error -16
