Date: Sun, 15 Nov 2009 16:04:10 +0000
From: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@...db.de>
To: linux-kernel@...r.kernel.org
Cc: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@...db.de>
Subject: [RFC 4/4] compat_ioctl: pass compat pointer directly to handlers
Instead of having each handler call compat_ptr, we can now
convert the pointer once and pass that to each handler.
This saves a little bit of both source and object code size.
