Subject: kernel problem , regressions

A next problem with 2.6.32:
/ When before boot one had put in an USB key, fdisk dont
find / dont show it. Only when, after, one remove it and
then put it in again, then fdisk find it, as /dev/uba .
This is a regression, because, on earlier kernels, fdisk
after boot also found such USB-keys which were put in
before the boot started.

dmesg below. This is booting my machine, there is again
the boot error what I reported for 2.6.32-rc8-gitX on my
machine and earlier today on 2.6.32 on a friend`s machine.

In the last time, the kernel is becoming unreliable.
Plenty laptops get problems which with older kernels
didn`t occure, often I have to install kernel 2.6.26.X or
earlier. During 2.6.27 I reported about a problem with
eth cards -- the drivers working and ifconfig showing eth0
etc, but the traffic isn`t passing (nor to the modem
direktly connected with the card via a cable). This
problem meanwhile disappeared almost, but not completely.
The most computers work with recent kernels without this
problem, but some still have this problem. It looks
that the problem entered with 2.6.24, because sometimes I
had go back and install 2.6.23.12 because of this.

To my opinion, one should test extensively the kernel on
as many as possible different hardware and laptops, and
repair these problems.
