 Edit /etc/default/grub change
 GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
 to
 GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""
 Then run « sudo update-grub »
 
 To see normal boot messages.
