Yes, especially if the subdrivers are dynamically loaded. Your patch is

The only minor comment is that the STMPE_GPIO_NOREQ_811_TOUCH name could
perhaps be clearer. STMPE811_GPIO_NOREQ_TOUCHSCREEN, maybe?
