Subject: External display unable to sync .

Hello Antonio , On my Dell Latitude C610 laptop the external display
is unable to get sync after the rivafb driver has taken control of the frame
buffer . Up until the rivafb takes control I have (this is setable from
keyboard) both the laptop display & the external showing the boot preocess .
Iirc, I was in the past able to have both displays showing X & Virtual
consoles on this very external monitor & the laptop .
 	Both displays are 1600x1200@...Z .
Please ask for any further information needed .

 		Tia , JimL

ps: CC'd linux-kernel this time to get more eyeballs on the problem , Since Mr.
Antonio has not responded nor anyone on the linux-fbdev list either .

 	.config is attached .

/usr/src/linux/scripts/ver_linux
