Subject: PROBLEM: kernel 2.6.35.7 crashes under I/O load
Hi there !
Since upgrading my main Linux Debian system to the last 2.6.35.7 kernel,
it's suffering from frequent crashes under I/O load.
This evening, one of these crashes was recorded into the system logs.
When it occured, I was processing a Digital TV recording with mencoder.

I got other crashes trying to reprocess the same file, but nothing was
recorded in the logs.
I finally rebooted under 2.6.34 and was able to process the file without
trouble. I had no such crashes under 2.6.34 so this does not seem to be
hardware related.

The affected system is a MSI KT3 Ultra2 mainboard (MS-6380E) with an
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ and 1.5 Gb of main memory.
