<sigh>. This ends up being yet-another hand coded GPIO controller that
isn't at all much different from any of the other gpio controllers.
We really should be a lot better at handling this sort of thing. A
lot of access routines could be generalized, but unfortunately none of
that exists yet.  Eventually I'm going to force the issue and start
saying 'no' to these kinds of drivers, but not today, and not until
there is some semblance of an alternative (not your fault, I know.
You're patch just happens to have my attention).

Some minor comments below.  If they are fixed up, then Samuel can pick
it up with my:
