Subject: CPUIDLE? Bug report

Hi,

This is my first bug report, apologies if I did anything wrong:

I appear to have found some kind of strange bug, it occurs when the cpuidle
driver is compiled into the kernel, it causes the machine to fail to boot
and issues an MCE, it said something like "Fatal machine check - Not
syncing" not sure however. Unfortunately I don't have any technical detail
of the error, but my system is a Core i7 920 and GigaByte X58A-UD3R
motherboard. Thank you, hopefully I won't be trapped in Windows much longer!

Harrison
