A sufficently configurable MUA would allow you to define an alternate "delete
with extreme prejudice" command, which would both summarily discard the item
being read and send the author a canned message that said "Due to top posting
and lack of trimming of quoted material, I was unable to find your actual
point.  Sorry your point has been discarded and lost".
