I must have inadvertently enabled CONFIG_INTEL_IOMMU_DEFAULT_ON in my config
for 3.2-rc1.

With disabled CONFIG_INTEL_IOMMU_DEFAULT_ON my thinkpad boots up again.
Not sure if this is expected?
