Try 3.1.1 kernel.  The bug with ALC861 & co should have been fixed.

If the problem is still present, at best, take alsa-info.sh outputs
(run with --no-upload option) on both working and non-working kernels,
and attach the outputs.  This will contain more comprehensive
information.
