Subject: audio-cd not readable under linux, but under Windows

I'm wondering about the error messages in /var/log/messages after putting an
audio cd into the drive of a ThinkPad T400 :

(repeated again and again...)

I tested this w/ current kernel 3.1.3 as well as with older - always the same.
The drive itself was already exchanged with a new one - therefore I don't belief
that it is the drive itself.
