How about 'select INPUT' instead?

Cc'ing dsd, as he's the one who worked on the SCI code.  I'm still
annoyed that this stuff is bool rather than tristate.. Might be worth
spending some time allowing it to be modular, if we can figure out a
non-racy solution.
