Subject: LPC2012 Tracing Summit, August 30th, 2012 (was: [CFP] Tracing
Micro-conference at LPC2012 (August 28-30, San Diego))
Hi,
Due to the high interest shown in the event, the Linux Plumbers Tracing
Micro-Conference will be held as a full day Tracing Summit on August
30th. Please refer to the
http://tracingsummit.org/wiki/TracingSummit2012
page for details.
There has been some back and forth recently on the exact date (28th or
30th), and between co-location with either LinuxCon or Plumbers (for
full day room availability). We have been trying to avoid major schedule
conflicts with co-located events. Sorry about that. So just to clear
things up: the Tracing Summit will be held within the Linux Plumbers
Conference 2012. Registration to Linux Plumbers Conference is required
for attendees and speakers. It will be possible to cancel LinuxCon
registration if some of you only registered to LinuxCon for the Tracing
Summit add-on. If you wish to do so, please contact the Linux
Foundation.
Thanks!
Mathieu
