Subject: No signal on monitor connected to laptop via HDMI on kernel 3.5.x
Hello,
I use an external monitor connected to my laptop via HDMI and it has
been working fine until recently I upgraded to Kernel 3.5 (and 3.5.1).
Now I get a "no signal" message and monitor goes to sleep. Display on
the laptop screen is fine only that there is no output on the external
monitor right from the boot.
Everything works fine when I switch back to Kernel 3.4.7 so I don't
believe this is an issue with any other software or hardware.
3.5.x Kernel source I use is one I patched (without any errors) from the
3.4.x source that I was using before.
I have attached the system information, from the running 3.5 Kernel.
Can someone please let me know if this is because of a bad configuration
or could it be a bug?
Thanks.
