Where is this tree maintained? www.kernel.org only has link to
3.6.11-stable but it says it's EOL, and the last tag is 3.6.11 from 2012.

How can I see what's in 3.6.11.2?

This patch is probably not needed in 3.6.x.y but it probably won't do
