Actually, this might not be a general solution because IRQBypDisGrp0,
FIQBypDisGrp0, IRQBypDisGrp1 and FIQBypDisGrp1 bits are not present
in all GIC versions.
For GICv1 (like you mentioned already), all these bits are reserved.
For GICv2 without security extensions, the bits IRQBypDisGrp0 and
FIQBypDisGrp0 are reserved.
For GICv2 with security extensions, all bits are available.
As you can see setting these bits may require more info about the
type of GIC.
I was thinking about having four optional boolean DT flags namely:
irq-byp-disable-group0, fiq-byp-disable-group0, irq-byp-disable-group1,
and fiq-byp-disable-group1. This way people can set all (or subset) of
these bits based on GIC type. What do you think about this approach?
