this is where trace-cmd stores them:
$(HOME)/.trace-cmd/plugins
$(prefix)/$(libdir)/trace-cmd/plugins
but I guess we want global place to install plugins,
the traceevent by default uses:
$(HOME)/.traceevent/plugins
$(prefix)/lib/traceevent/plugins
