Subject: [PATCH] tools: perf: util: session.c:  Cleaning up inconsistent NULL checks

Cleaning up inconsistent NULL checks.
There is otherwise a risk of a possible null pointer dereference.

Was largely found by using a static code analysis program called cppcheck.
