Applied to the togreg branch of iio.git - initially pushed out
as testing for the autobuilders to play.  It's been more than 3 weeks
without the device tree stuff changing.

If Mark or Hartmut want to offer a reviewed by in the next day or so
before I push this out as togreg then I'd be most happy to add them!
