Subject: [PATCH 1/1] USB: serial: Deletion of an unnecessary check before
the function call "release_firmware"
From: Markus Elfring <elfring@...rs.sourceforge.net>
Date: Fri, 21 Nov 2014 16:15:34 +0100
The release_firmware() function tests whether its argument is NULL
and then returns immediately. Thus the test around the call is not needed.
This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.
