So I've got this box a *little* longer than anticipated.
It's now been running 30 hours with not a single NMI lockup.
and that's with my kitchen-sink debugging kernel.
The 'hpet off' messages continue to be spewed, and again they're
all in the same range of 4293198075 -> 4294967266
