So, please take a look at my perf/core branch, I processed I think 50%
of this, need to take a break to process some more patches, then
dedicate some time to those patches related to FINISHED_ROUND.

Also, if possible, would be nice to have access to some perf.data file
with those records, so that I can do some testing here, since I have no
hardware at least some parts of the code I could test, and not just do
code reviews.
