Subject: lockfile failure on encfs

Hi Miklos!
Just wanted to point out this BZ to you:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104261

lockfile doesn't seem to work on encfs, but
suddenly starts working if used under strace.

While I found a work-around (using strace)
it's still annoying.

It doesn't seem likely that the problem can be in
encfs userspace (why would it care that strace is used?)
but I copied Valient just in case.

Any help / debugging tips appreciated.
