Date: Fri, 16 Oct 2015 12:41:01 +0200 From: Jiri Olsa <jolsa@...nel.org> To: Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo <acme@...nel.org> Cc: lkml <linux-kernel@...r.kernel.org>, David Ahern <dsahern@...il.com>, Ingo Molnar <mingo@...nel.org>, Namhyung Kim <namhyung@...nel.org>, Peter Zijlstra <a.p.zijlstra@...llo.nl>, "Liang, Kan" <kan.liang@...el.com> Subject: [PATCH 26/57] perf tools: Introduce stat feature Introducing stat feature to mark perf.data as created by perf stat record command. It contains no data. It's needed for report tools (report/script) to differentiate sampling data from stat data, because they need to be treated in a different way. In future it might be used to store version of the stat storage system we used.
